Discord has no discovery to speak of. There is no feed, no recommendation engine, no equivalent of a For You page pushing your server at strangers. People arrive through an invite link — from a YouTube description, a tweet, a friend — and then make one decision very fast: is anyone actually here?

Boosts are the one thing here that is not cosmetic

Will members actually chat?

Can Discord ban my server for this?
