Twitch has a discovery problem that no other platform on this site shares: the only place viewers browse is the category page, and the category page is sorted by concurrent viewers. Streams with more viewers are shown to more people, who become more viewers.

Getting the viewer count right
This is where Twitch punishes carelessness more than most platforms, because your viewer count is public, live, and sitting next to a chat window that everyone can see.
